33 of the Most Awesome Signs from the Global Women’s March (NSFW)

It started as a march on Washington… but by the end of the day Saturday, it was clear that the Women’s March had blossomed into a massive display of solidarity.

The demonstrations were spurred by the election of Donald Trump and the recent uptick in legislative attempts to limit women’s reproductive rights, but organizers made a point of stressing diversity and inclusion as well.

The event was a global phenomenon. An estimated 2.5 million people took to the streets in cities around the world, and they came with signs — colorful, clever, bold and beautiful signs. Check out some of the best ones below (viewer discretion advised):

There were more than 650 separate marches around the world, according to womensmarch.com. The website’s Mission Statement reads,

“We stand together in solidarity with our partners and children for the protection of our rights, our safety, our health, and our families – recognizing that our vibrant and diverse communities are the strength of our country.”
